Location

Just half an hour drive from Palma with the option of several different routes, with no more than five minutes difference between each route. If you take the Palma to Manacor road, you can take the turn-offs to Algaida or Montuïri and follow the signs to Sant Joan. Another option is the scenic road from Palma to Sineu or if you prefer the road from Palma to Inca, whichever option you choose just follow the signs to Sineu and from there to Sant Joan. We are located on the Sant Joan to Sineu road – kilometre 0.4 ( MA3232) – very close to the roundabout which is the turn-off to the village of Sant Joan.

Gossalba is a beautifully restored farmhouse in the middle of a spectacular olive grove and surrounded by picturesque countryside. The location is in the heart of the “Pla de Mallorca”. Historians, geographers, and the curious amongst us, have always raised the question “where is the exact centre of the island”. The answer, a subject for discussion, is always the location where the line separates (or joins) the municipalities of Lloret, Sineu, and Sant Joan, which means in very close proximity to Gossalba.

If you choose the option of driving via the Sineu route, as you approach the town, the skyline is dominated by the Palace of the Kings of Mallorca- built as a summer residence for King Jaume II.
